When LOWA sits down to develop its line of Alpine boots, the company consults with the best professional mountaineers in the German-speaking world. These ambitious mountain athletes know exactly what counts during extreme high-altitude tours, on via ferrata and during far-off expeditions. The LOWA PRO Team advises our specialists in the Development Department in its work to create footwear that perfectly meets the athletes’ needs. The result of this work is a new line that delivers top performance on the mountain. The models have become much more athletic and lighter. Over the past few years, a number of exceptional LOWA boots have been developed in the “performance” segment during countless meetings with athletes and testing events.
